GOING : Dishoom, a Bombay Café in London - Shoreditch

It's Divali!

Celebrate by visiting Dishoom, Shoreditch!

This is the the latest outpost in the Dishoom empire (if you haven't been to the Covent Garden outpost, I'd recommend it - it's smaller but just as charming).

The Dishoom restaurants have a shabby-chic feel with an old colonial clubhouse feel. You could just as well imagine yourself in India - relaxing by the bar, after a day of hot and humid Indian weather, cooling off and catching up over a cocktail or two.

The atmosphere at Dishoom is buzzy, the staff friendly and the food well priced and great for sharing - menu hereI must admit I have been here a couple of times so here are pictures from a number of visits...

One well stocked and spicy bar...

One Bombay Colada

4 BollyBellini's

Relaxing in Shoreditch's only 'Permit Room'

The Food....

Dishoom Calamari

Black Dahl and Panner Tikka

Chicken Tikka done very, very well!

The Lamb Raan... words cannot do it justice!

And that's Dishoom! Don't worry, you won't want them to take the food back...

xx O xx
